Senor Frogs is one of the most popular party places in Cancun.  During the day, Senor¡¯s is a restaurant that serves pizza, chicken, pasta, steaks, and Mexican food.  The location transforms into a huge attraction for after hours dancing and fun during the evening.  Senor Frogs has a capacity for 1500 patrons.  Live music, DJ¡¯s, contests, and karaoke are the features that attract a young and wild crowd.  Many of the all-inclusive hotels offer a free cover charge with their wristbands.  These wristbands can also offer quicker admission to the club if there is a waiting line.  The normal cover charge is US $3.00 but includes a plastic yard glass to fill with beer or cocktails.

The City, opened in 2004, is one of the newest nightclubs in Cancun.  The club includes a beach that is open during daytime hours.  15,000 guests can be accommodated at this location.  The City boasts three floors and the club can hold more than 4,000 guests.  Top-notch laser and lighting systems are found here along with bubble, fog, and balloon machines.  This amazing nightspot houses a cinema screen, a mobile dance stage that descends from the third floor to the center of the club, and the biggest disco ball in the world.  Many well-known international entertainers have performed at this location.  The fa?ade of The City is composed of three-dimensional skyscraper towers.

La Boom is a nightclub that is easily recognizable by the Red London bus parked outside.  This is a trendy party arena that is reminiscent of a European atmosphere.  Theme nights are offered each night of the week.  The multi-level dance floor is enhanced with an amazing light show and a superior sound system.

Coco Bongo is located in the center of the hotel district.  A unique mix of 70¡¯s and 80¡¯s, Dance, Trance, Hip Hop, Salsa and Rave music rock this nightspot.  This well-known club offers a surreal environment of flying acrobats, falling streamers and soap bubbles, movie clips projected onto movie screens that drops from the roof.  Lights, special effects, and high energy DJ¡¯s top off this party place.

Cancun offers an exciting nightlife that is accessible and diverse.  While visiting these locations, you will find yourself dancing the tropical nights away with people from all over the world.  If you are interested in partying with the locals of Cancun, try a Salsa or Jazz club in the downtown area.  There is often a free evening concert in the downtown Parque de las Palapas.

The public bus system in the Hotel Zone of Cancun offers an inexpensive and convenient way to travel from club to club within the city.  The fare is very inexpensive (under US $1.00) and services run quite frequently.  There are also an abundance of taxis available.  Always agree on the price of transportation before hiring the services of a driver.  Also, make sure you have the correct change for the fare.  The ease and availability of transportation within this city truly allow for endless exploration of the hot spots that abound.
