When you¡¯re ready to explore more of Palm Springs, head to the popular Aerial Tramway.  The tram takes you approximately 8,000 feet from the desert floor to the top of the San Jancito Mountains.  The ride provides awe-inspiring views and when you reach the top, take time to shoot a few pictures and enjoy the spectacular setting.

For the star-struck, it¡¯s relatively easy to find a Hollywood-style map to the stars homes.  Known as the ¡°President¡¯s Playground¡±, for decades Palm Springs was the retreat for some of the nation¡¯s most powerful men as well as Hollywood stars including Frank Sinatra and Bob Hope (notice many of the city¡¯s streets are named after the rich and famous who helped this city become what it is today).  Take a driving tour of the city and you¡¯ll see the essence of old Hollywood reflected in Santa Barbara style architecture in mini mansions.
