Tulsa, Oklahoma is truly one of those places offering many things to do and see alone.

If it is entertainment, you want than Bells Amusement Park is the place to go with more than 50 attractions.  Bells boast one of the largest wooden roller coasters, the Zingo, in the southwest.  The log ride is also very thrilling.

Big Splash Water Park is fun for the whole family or alone.  Big Splash offers two high speed almost straight down slides guaranteed to give you a thrill.  They also have a large wave pool and lazy river.  If you like diving or just plummeting into the water, you can dive off a ledge platform or swing out on a rope and drop straight down into over 15 foot of water.

If it is animals and nature you like then you will love the Tulsa Zoo and Living Museum.  The Tulsa Zoo is the third largest zoo in the United States.  Come see the Chimpanzees, Lions, Bears, Elephants, and much more.  If you get tired, hop on the train and see the animals from the comfort of the train.

Tulsa¡¯s Cherry Street Farmer¡¯s Market is a wonderful place to shop.  This flea market offers a variety of goods sure to satisfy your shopping bug.

Macs Antique Auto Museum displays a wonderful collection of vintage and antique automobiles.

If you are looking for beauty and education the Tulsa Garden Center, Gilcrease Museum, Philbrook Museum, and Dennie Willis Museum offers a brightly colored landscaped garden with over 9,000 rosebushes.  The world¡¯s largest collection of Western American art is located at the Gilcrease Museum.  The Philbrook offers American, Native American, African, and Asian artwork.  The Dennie Willis Museum features a beautiful display of trains, robots, and dolls.

Tulsa is also home to the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame and the Tulsa Performing Arts Center.  The Performing Arts Center has five theaters offering symphony, plays, ballet, opera, and films.

The Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish art offers over 10,000 pieces of artifacts, costumes, artwork, documents, and Jewish ritual pieces.

Tulsa¡¯s Historical Society started in 1963 to help educate the public to the cultures and history of Tulsa.  You will find thousands of photographs, maps, graphics, books, historical clothing, and fine arts at the Society.  Up until 1998, they were located in the Gilcrease House.  They recently purchased the Samuel Travis Mansion, which is being renovated to house the Society.  Until the new facility is completed, you must make appointments to view the collections.

Tulsa is a large aviation area having one of the best schools in the Southwest, Spartan School of Aeronautics and you can trace the aviation history of Tulsa at the Tulsa Air and Space Museum.  Some of the exhibits include a shuttle launch, F14 Tomcat, a wind tunnel, and simulation lab.

If you are into running Tulsa¡¯s River Parks offer a ten-mile biking, running, and walking path taking you along the scenic Arkansas River.

Tulsa also has many places to dine and many movie theaters.
