Another perfect place to visit when touring Mexico City is the Museo Frida Kahlo or the Frida Kahlo Museum.  This museum highlights the extraordinary  work of modern, revolutionary artist Frida Kahlo and is located in her own blue house.  Recent renovations to the house have uncovered a secret hiding place that held variety of her own personal items, including dresses, jewelry, and photographs.  The Museo Frida Kahlo is certainly a very interesting place to visit and likely to be an experience that you will tell your friends and family about.  

The Palacio Nacional or National Palace is also a perfect place to visit if you want to see history up close and personal.  Dating back to 1693, the great building was once occupied by Spanish conqueror Hernan Cortez and is now the seat of government.  Also on view within the palace are the murals of Diego Rivera, a great artist and the husband of Frida Kahlo.  Touring the palace will be an unforgettable experience for everyone.
