Winter, summer, fall or spring, COSI Toledo offers many programs that thrill tourists all year long! COSI, the Center of Science and Industry, was designed to teach kids about science. But, even adults find the exhibits, demonstrations, and the programs fascinating!

If you and your family like animals, the Toledo Zoo should definitely be a stop you make. This northern Ohio zoo has been housing and caring for animals for over one hundred years! And, it's one of the top attractions in the state of Ohio!     

The Toledo Zoo boasts housing over four thousand animals. It also has a botanical conservatory that you can walk through, just as the nearly one million other tourists do each and every year. The zoo has a children's petting area, hippos, apes, tigers, and African animals.   

Golf fanatics can take a trip over to the Detwiler Park Golf Course and enjoy playing eighteen holes on this unique green. This golf course is no ordinary green because it was designed by Arthur Hills. Hills is known the world over for his architectural skills. 

If you need some help with your golf technique, you can even get tips from a professional golfer. 

Fishermen can take advantage of the city of Toledo being close to the Maumee River. If you head over to a place called High Seas Adventures, you can take a charter fishing trip on their sixty five foot boat. It holds eighty passengers, but if you want to get a seat, don't wait too long!

The fishing trips last either three or six hours, and you can expect to catch bass, perch and walleye on the end of your hook!
