Thrill seekers will never be bored in sunny Orlando, Florida. With several theme parks to choose from, the only difficulty that vacationers face is deciding which theme parks to visit first. Before you visit Orlando, read these reviews and comparisons to make your decisions a little easier.
Orlando just would not be Orlando with out Walt Disney World. This magical theme park actually consists of four theme parks (Magic Kingdom?, Epcot?, Disney-MGM Studios, and Disney Animal Kingdom?) and two water parks (Disney¡¯s Blizzard Beach and Disney¡¯s Typhoon Lagoon).
The Magic Kingdom? is what most people think of when they think of Disney World. Very similar to Disney Land, which is located in California, the Magic Kingdom? has rides and attractions that have become famous over the years. No trip to Disney World is complete without experiencing Space Mountain? and the Haunted Mansion. The stage shows, 3-D shows, and nighttime fireworks should not be missed either. More rides and shows are available at the Disney-MGM Studios. For even more excitement, visitors can go to either of the two Disney World water parks. Epcot? is both entertaining and educational. Visitors can watch fantastic shows about various cultures, scientific possibilities, and more. And at the Disney Animal Kingdom?, visitors can learn about past, modern, and mythical animals and habitats.
With so many different things to do and see, Disney World has something for everyone. Although the theme park is most commonly associated with children, there are plenty of rides and shows that appeal to adults as well.
At Universal Studies, visitors can take a more interactive role in some of their favorite movies by experiencing the Back To the Future, Shrek, Jaws, E.T., and other rides. Children can have fun in the various areas designed just for kids. Adventurous individuals can test their braveness with Fear Factor Live. Even the shops and restaurants at Universal Studios are exciting; do not miss the Universal Studios Classic Monster Caf¨¦.
Animal lovers, sea lovers, and thrill seekers alike will thoroughly enjoy Orlando¡¯s SeaWorld. Complete with roller coasters, SeaWorld is definitely offers more than the average aquarium. Kraken is as tall as a 15 story building and has seven loops; Kraken is the only floorless roller coaster in Orlando, meaning that riders¡¯ feet dangle beneath them, increasing the feeling of danger. Of course, there are still plenty of aquatic animals to see, including sharks, penguins, dolphins, and Shamu, the famous killer whale. Visitors are even allowed to interact with some very impressive animals by feeding sea lions or petting dolphins.
Ideally, all three of these fabulous theme parks should be visited; each theme park has its own unique attractions. If there is only time for one theme park, Disney World simply cannot be missed. Several days should be allotted to Disney World; the conglomeration of theme parks is just too large to experience in one, or even two days. Although the park is magical for everyone, children are especially tickled by the wonders of Disney World; one visit will create a life time of memories.
