Right around the corner from Adagio Jazz club is O*Connell*s Irish Pub, located on 108 West Congress Street. This pub has been in business for more than a decade. Before becoming a pub, the building was actually an 18th century cotton warehouse 每 one of Savannah*s oldest, in fact. This pub attracts a lively and friendly crowd, and it*s a favorite hang out spot for many locals. The interior is decorated with Irish paintings and artwork, and the walls are brick and antique-looking. Plus, the jukebox plays Irish folk music as well as contemporary tunes. There are also pool tables and dart boards, and live Irish bands perform nearly every week.
