Mazatlan nightlife is complete with bars, clubs, restaurants and lots of action when the sun goes down. Nightlife here ranges from discos that are open until 4a.m. to small quaint bars and lounges, as well as restaurants. Restaurants here serve mostly seafood and are generally casual, but serve bountiful and very reasonably priced meals. Most of the nightlife here takes place within the Zona Dorada and Fiesta Land. Zona Dorada is where most of the tourist establishments are located as well as some of the more popular nightlife spots. Located south of the Zona Dorada is Fiesta Land, which is home to seven restaurants and clubs. Either of these locations has the facilities for a great nightlife while in Mazatlan.
Zona Dorada is the area along Av. Camaron Sabalo from Fiesta Land to the Galactic Bowling Alley. This area is home to the most popular beaches and classier hotels in Mazatlan. English is the primary language spoken here and nightlife in this area is very exciting and popular. Establishments located here are El Caracol, Mango¡¯s Restaurant, Blu, PepeToro, Mundo Bananas, Joe¡¯s Oyster Bar, Gringo Lingo, La Casa Country, Senior Frogs, El Toro Bravo, Coliseo¡¯s Disco, and Bora Bora. El Caracol, located on the north end of Zona Dorada offers dancing and an open bar on the weekends. Mango¡¯s Restaurant and Bar offers dancing to Latino music, as well as music from the 70¡¯s and 80¡¯s. Blu is located two minutes from Mango¡¯s, while PepeToro is located across the street from Blu and caters to both straight and gay people. Mundo Bananas plays the hottest and latest Latin music as well as hip-hop and rock music. Mundo Bananas Restaurant is also located in a separate section and is a great place for food and fun.
Joe¡¯s Oyster Bar, located in Hotel Los Sabalos, is a beachfront bar where dress is beach casual. Senior Frogs offers nightly dancing and their famous Tequila Shooters while El Toro Bravo offers a variety of music plus a mechanical bull. Gringo Lingo and La Casa Country are also located in the Zona Dorada. Zona Dorada, with all its fun locations is the perfect location to spend an exciting evening or night.
Fiesta Land, located on the northern end of the Malecon and south of Zona Dorada, is a great place to begin or end a search for the perfect nightlife spot. Restaurants and clubs located in this area are Valentino¡¯s Disco, Mikinos, Canta Bar, Bali Hai, Bora Bora, Coliseo¡¯s Disco as well as Pepe¡¯s and Joe. Valentino¡¯s Disco, the most popular disco club, plays hip-hop, techno as well as Spanish music. This two-story establishment offers dancing on the first floor and a bar on the second floor. Canta Bar, a Karaoke Bar, located next to Valentino¡¯s Disco has a stage in front and most any song requested can is available. Bora Bora, the most popular outside beach club, plays hip-hop, techno, rock, pop along with 70¡¯s and 80¡¯s music all while offering a great ocean view. Bora Bora also has swimming pools and beach volleyball. Bali Hai, a sports bar, plays hip-hop, techno, pop and rock music and is located next to Bora Bora. Pepe¡¯s and Joe, restaurant and brewpub offer international cuisine as well as being the only brewpub in Mazatlan. Mikinos, is the only piano bar in Fiesta Land. Coliseo¡¯s Disco, located south of Valentino¡¯s Disco, which is built like a Coliseum, offers great lighting effects along with the sounds of Latino, rock, hip-hop or techno music. If fun and excitement are on the menu, then Fiesta Land is the place to go.
Mazatlan offers great nightlife for anyone wanting to indulge himself or herself this way. With two great areas full of restaurants and clubs, there is surely something for everyone here.
