Special screenings On the road: "Into the Wild," starring Emile Hirsch as an idealistic man who chucks his past existence to live off the land, screens as part of the Park City Film Series tonight and Saturday at 8, and Sunday at 6 p.m., at the Park City Library Center, 1255 Park Ave. Admission is $7, $6 students, seniors. Like a leper messiah: The David Bowie concert film "Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars" screens tonight and Saturday at midnight at the Tower Theatre, 876 E. 900 South, Salt Lake City. Admission is $8. Anime, times two: A double-bill of Japanese anime will be screened Saturday at the the City Library auditorium, 210 E. 400 South, Salt Lake City. Hayao Miyazaki's 1998 children's classic "My Neighbor Totoro" will screen at 1 p.m., and the fantasy "The Cat Returns" screens at 3 p.m. Both shows are free to the public, and are presented by the Salt Lake City Film Center. Crossing the border: The documentary "De Nadie," which follows a Central American immigrant's efforts to find a better life in the United States, will have a free screening Monday at 7 p.m. at the City Library auditorium, 210 E. 400 South, Salt Lake City. The screening is part of the Salt Lake City Film Center's Spanish-language series. Life during wartime: The Advertisement work-in-progress documentary "Reserved to Fight," in which Utah filmmaker Chantelle Squires follows members of a Marine Reserve unit after their return from Iraq, will have a free screening Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the City Library auditorium, 210 E. 400 South, Salt Lake City. The screening is presented by the Salt Lake City Film Center. Fighting for love: The 1926 Buster Keaton silent comedy "Battling Butler" kicks off the Organ Loft's winter season, Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Organ Loft, 3331 S. Edison (half a block east of State Street), South Salt Lake. Blaine Gale accompanies on the Wurlitzer organ. Admission is $5, and reservations can be made by calling 485-9265.
