1. Newark Liberty International Marriott 

The Newark Liberty Marriott is a spectacular location to hold your wedding reception at.  They have a newly renovated ballroom with gorgeous crystal chandeliers.  Also, they have certified wedding planners on staff to help you efficiently orchestrate your special and momentous day.  They offer an extensive menu for you to choose, and you can decide on either a buffet-style or a sit-down dinner.  They also have a fully-stocked bar and an extensive fine wine list.  You can request ice carvings and floral table centerpieces and d谷cor.  This venue can also provide place cards, cake boxes, linen chair covers, and a guest book for your celebration.  If you want to hold your wedding reception and ceremony at one location, you can do so at the Newark Liberty Marriott.  In fact, they have beautiful indoor and outdoor ceremony locations for you to choose from.

2. The Robert Treat Hotel

The Robert Treat Hotel has been in business for over 85 years, and they have an excellent reputation.  This is a great Newark wedding reception location to consider.  They have an elegant ballroom with flowing white drapes and an impressively large chandelier hanging centrally, right over the dance floor.  They have a skilled kitchen staff that can prepare either a buffet-style or sit-down meal or you can elect to bring in a caterer of your choice.  The Robert Treat Hotel is known for its friendly and attentive staff, so your guests are sure to be well taken care of.  If you are having an evening wedding, consider opting for their romantic candlelit dinner reception.  

3. Eunique Euniece Clinton Manor

If you are having a small affair, you may want to consider Eunique Euniece Clinton Manor.  This company started out doing catering and then expanded their business to include a banquet hall.  They have excellent food and are very willing to accommodate any special requests.  They can also make your wedding cake exactly to your specification 每 they claim that they can replicate any wedding cake picture you throw at them!  The reception hall is cozy and intimate and there is room for a small dance floor if you have less than fifty guests attending.  If you don＊t need a dance floor, about seventy-five guests can be accommodated.

4. Euphoria Caf谷

One of the loveliest small banquet halls in all of Newark, New Jersey is the Euphoria Caf谷, located on 17 Academy Street.  You can either dine on the light fare that the restaurant offers, or you can hire a caterer to handle the food and drink for your reception.  This is a great place for a guest list under 100 people, and there is plenty of room for a live band or disc jockey and dance floor.

5. The Villa at Mountain Lakes

The Villa at Mountain Lakes is an elegant upscale venue with breathtakingly beautiful ballrooms and cascading crystal chandeliers.  The high ceiling is artistically painted, and the powder pink shining dance floor is magnificent.  There are also two private cocktail rooms, and antiques and artwork adorn the walls.  You can also hold your ceremony at this location 每 either inside or outside.  Plus, the grounds are immaculately landscaped 每 perfect for photography.

6. The Mezzanine

The Mezzanine is located just three blocks from the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.  The building and ballroom within have recently been remodeled and restored 每 the building has been around since 1934!  If you have a reception at the Mezzanine, rest assured that yours will be the only reception going on 每 they host just one event at a time, so you will have the undivided attention of their skilled staff.  This venue can accommodate 150 to a whopping 900 guests!

7. Sheraton Newark Airport Hotel

The Sheraton can accommodate up to a thousand guests, so you will easily be able to have a huge wedding in their banquet hall.  There is a large dance floor and plenty of space for a live band or disc jockey 每 or both 每 to set up.  The interior of this banquet hall is plain, so dress it up with ribbons, floral arrangements and archways, and some candles if the reception is in the evening.  

8. The Pillars of Plainfield Bed and Breakfast Inn 

If you are looking to have an outdoor wedding, there isn＊t a more beautiful location than the lawns of the Pillars of Plainfield Bed and Breakfast Inn.  This Victorian-Georgian style mansion is surrounded by gardens, trees, and lush green grass.  If you are having a spring or summer wedding, this is definitely a location to take into consideration.  The scenery is so beautiful for your wedding day picture-taking too.  

9. The Newark Museum

You may not have realized it, but many museums have halls available for weddings and wedding receptions.  The Newark Museum has several spaces within where you can hold a memorable and unique celebration, including their Engelhard Court, Ballantine House, and several art galleries and gardens.  Engelhard Court even has seventeen-foot ficus trees within 每 a truly remarkable facility.  If you are looking for an upscale, artsy, and unique reception site, the Newark Museum is absolutely the venue you should book. 

10. The New Jersey Performing Arts Center 

This location is set right along the scenic Newark waterfront.  They hold receptions in banquet rooms, auditoriums, or community rooms, depending on your preference.  Be sure to look at all the spaces they have to offer if you decide to tour this facility.  The New Jersey Performing Arts Center can accommodate thirty to four-hundred guests for a sit-down dinner.
