Liberty House Restaurant

The Liberty House Restaurant is a picturesque and inviting location for a spectacular wedding celebration.  You and your guests will create lasting memories of your romantic day amidst the Liberty House¡¯s Grand Ballroom, which boasts thirty-foot high vaulted ceilings and a breathtaking wrap-around balcony.  You can even enjoy your cocktail hour on the balcony if the skies are clear.  For a sit-down dinner with dancing, this location can accommodate up to three-hundred and fifty guests, and a buffet-style dinner with dancing can allow up to three-hundred guests in total.  If you are going to hold a cocktail reception only, five-hundred and fifty guests can be accommodated.

If you are looking for a more casual and quaint site to hold your wedding reception of less than one-hundred people, you should visit the chic and trendy venue 4 Fifty 5, located on 455 Washington Boulevard.  This place has a very modern decorating scheme that is artistic, simple, and romantic.  If you have too large a guest list for this place to serve as your reception location, you should still consider booking this Jersey City hotspot for your rehearsal dinner or bachelor/bachelorette parties. 

Caf¨¦ Newport

If Italian food is what you are seeking, be sure to do a taste test at Caf¨¦ Newport, located on 500 Washington Street.  Not only is the cuisine top-tier, but the ambiance is as well.  There is a beautiful view of the Manhattan Skyline, and the Caf¨¦ Crown room (which is where a wedding reception would be held at this venue) is elegant and dramatic.  If you have a guests list below one-hundred and fifty people, Caf¨¦ Newport is a great option.  One thing to keep in mind with this location is that you will probably not have much space outside or inside for group photography, so you may want to decide on an alternate photo spot to stop at between the ceremony and the cocktail hour or reception.

Chatom Vineyards

Many soon-to-be-married couples forget to think outside the box when it comes to choosing a wedding reception location.  Wine vineyards are actually an excellent choice for romantic and memorable wedding celebrations, and Chatom Vineyards is hands-down Jersey City¡¯s finest vineyard.  Located on sixty-five acres of land, this venue is absolutely perfect for picture-taking.  With such a beautiful backdrop to work with, your wedding portrait will surely be magnificent.  You can even have your ceremony at Chatom, either under a tent or under the clear blue sky.  Your guests will be able to enjoy fine wines and scrumptious cheeses and finger foods, and you can also bring in your own caterer to prepare the sit-down or buffet-style meal of your choice.
