How can a couple trim the fat from their wedding budget without sacrificing the celebratory flavor? One way is by creating frugal yet festive favors to be doled out to delighted guests. To get you going, here is a helpful list of wedding favors you can make.

On your next hike, glean seeds from native wildflowers. Distribute into small organza pouches. Hang a tag with sowing instructions on one side. On the reverse, print verses such as ¡°Their Love Will Forever Blossom¡± and ¡°Spreading the Love and Watching it Grow¡± beneath the couple¡¯s names. You can also purchase seeds from your local garden center or Botanical or Audubon Society.
