You only have two weeks left before your wedding day. If you have been keeping up with your checklists then it is probably smooth sailing right now as you simply finalize last minute details and wait anxiously for that day you can finally walk down the aisle. If, on the other hand, you have found yourself procrastinating somewhat, you might feel a little bit like a chicken with its head cut off. To give you a helping hand, here is a checklist of items you need to take care of two weeks before the wedding.

* If you haven¡¯t done so already, choose your hairstyle and makeup and schedule your appointment with your salon or hairstylist. Also, if you were unable to do so last month, do a trial run with your hairstylist to make sure that the style you have chosen fits you. Or, if you will be doing your own hair and makeup, fix your hair and makeup at this time and try your veil on to see how much time you will need to fix yourself up on your wedding day.

* Pick up your wedding gown and try it on to make sure the alterations are perfect. Also, give your bridesmaids a call to ensure they have received their gowns and that they fit, as well. 

* If you and your spouse will be giving toasts at the reception and rehearsal dinner to your parents, guests and wedding party, start writing them now.

* Two weeks before the wedding, your caterer will probably ask for a final headcount. If you have not received all of the RSVPs, call those people who have not yet contacted you to determine if they will be attending or not. 

* At the two-week mark, send out your rehearsal dinner invitations to all of those who will be attending, including the entire wedding party, the officiant and parents of the bride and groom. Be sure to include the itinerary for the night (where the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner sites will be), directions to the sites and a contact number, in case your guests get lost.

* Contact all of your vendors (florist, caterer, bakery, venue site, DJ and photographer) to make sure of delivery times, setup times and to answer any final questions. You may be required to make your final payments this week, so have your finances ready. 

* Some couples choose to have assigned seating at their reception; if this is you, make your final seating arrangements plan and design and complete your place cards. 

* If you are planning on taking your soon-to-be husband¡¯s name, start filling out all necessary paperwork to do so, including paperwork for your driver¡¯s license, social security card, credit cards, loans and anything else where your maiden name was used.

* Before you and your partner jet off to your honeymoon, you will want to make copies of all important documents, including copies of your itinerary, passports (if you will be using them), hotel information and credit card numbers (in the event they get lost or stolen). Give these copies to a trusted friend or relative, along with your own contact information (cell phone number, in case they need to reach you).
