With the mountains just ten miles west of the city itself, the Denver Colorado area is a great place to have a wedding.

In the Denver area outside weddings are very common.  A short drive from Denver and you find yourself in the Rocky Mountains.  In those mountains there are countless places that are naturally beautiful and have a breathtaking view. These areas are perfect for a memorable wedding.

For those who wish for something of a lower altitude will find that the Denver area has a great number of parks and open spaces that are just perfect for celebrating a couple's union at.  Areas along the Platt River are beautiful places to enjoy the natural sounds of the water as it flows past.  The river makes a wonderful background to any such ceremonies.

Heritage Square has all the needed facilities for a full wedding, both for inside and outside weddings.  The old town street designs give an historic feel to the place. It serves as a fun place to roam around so that guests can be entertained before and after the ceremony. During the warm seasons they have amusements rides and the giant Alpine Slide to enjoy.

In the heart of Denver itself there are areas that are very much a part of Denver that hold weddings.

There are many places along the 16th Street Mall in downtown Denver that have incredible ballrooms and impressive catering services.  All within a few blocks of the Capital building and many other points of interest in Denver.  A collection of hotels and restaurants in the area are perfect for out of town guests to be able to stay near the wedding sight.

For those looking for a unique wedding the Colorado Renaissance Festival in Larkspur Colorado hosts weddings when it is open during the summer.  They have a small chapel for the ceremony as well as a reception area.  The daily events of the festival are perfect entertainment for the guests.  The bridal party is customarily dressed in period outfits and the employees of the festival join in to make the ceremony fun and memorable.

North of Denver you find Boulder Colorado right there at the edge of the Rocky Mountains.  The nearby mountains themselves present many great locations with remarkable views of the city.  The city itself has many restaurants and inns that are able to cater remarkable receptions. The local College Campus has many areas and stages that can be used for impressive outside ceremonies.
