You only have two eyes, yet most areas of your life depend on your ability to see. It is imperative to take good care of your eyes now, so they will take care of you later on in life. Since caring for your eyes properly is simple to do, there is no reason to wait another day to get started.

It is also wise to use protective eyewear when engaging in certain types of work or sports. Always wear protective glasses or goggles when cutting grass, trimming trees, swimming, riding a motorcycle, or while engaging in any activity that poses a risk to the eyes.

There are many serious conditions that can affect the eyes. Detecting glaucoma and other diseases in the earliest stages is the best way to treat such problems, and prevent them from growing worse or eventually stealing your sight. Have your eyes thoroughly examined on a regular basis, at least once each year.
