Dove Essentials Day Moisturizer is also a superior product when compared to salon and drug store moisturizers.  It is dye and fragrance fee and includes SPF and fatty acids to protect your face from the elements.  It can be purchased in a 4-ounce bottle and is about 1/3 of the price of Mary Kay or Clinique brand moisturizing lotions. In addition, just a drop of this cream is enough to moisturize the entire face, so a little goes a long way.  A night cream without SPF is also available though not necessary.

? According to skincare experts, Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream can be compared to Estee Lauder¡¯s Diminish Retinol Treatment at 10% of the price.  It contains retinol, with is also the active ingredient in the Estee Lauder Cream and is know for its wrinkle reducing abilities.  It also contains vitamin A, and SPF 15 to protect and rejuvenate the skin.  

? For acne prone skin, Clean & Clear Oil-Free Dual Action Moisturizer is oil-free and contains salicylic which is know to eliminate acne.  Considering the small fortunes spent on acne treatments, it makes sense to try Clean & Clear products before forking over hundreds of dollars for the next acne miracle cream.  The salicylic acid clears clogged pores, which results in acne.  It is available in 4-ounce tubes at a very reasonable price.  This product however, is not meant for sensitive skin and should not be used around the eyes.

If you are currently using an expensive department store or designer brand moisturizer on your skin and you like the effects, try the following test.  Bring your bottle into the drug store with you and compare the ingredients list to these products.  It is likely you will find a replacement among these or similar products.
