Twist ties are great when it comes to luggage. Twist ties can be used to hang nametags from the zippers of luggage if your luggage tags have come off over the years. You can use twist ties to hold your zipper pulls together and you¡¯ll never have a suitcase come undone on the runway or baggage belts. Twist ties are great for wreath making. Starting with a basic wreath you can add on dried flowers, potpourri, pinecones, ribbons, etc. by attaching them with twist ties. Making wreaths with twist ties allows you to change the wreath with the seasons and holidays and your items won¡¯t fall off. You can use a twist tie as a hanger for your wreath too!
Twist ties are great for kid¡¯s crafts. Kids can sculpt twist ties into practically anything. Kids can make twist tie animals, people, and even buildings. Use the twist ties to create a frame and you can cover it with paper, cloth, or other craft items.
To make gift wrapping a breeze just pull colored tissue paper up around your gift and gather it in the middle. Put a twist tie around the gathered tissue and you¡¯ve wrapped your gift with no tape!
If you¡¯ve got a mess of wires underneath your computer or behind your entertainment center you can straighten them out with twist ties. Just gather together your cords with twist ties every six inches or so and you will end the tangled mess. To keep your cords straight put a different colored twist tie on the end of each plug. Keep a chart that tells you what color twist tie belongs to what appliance and you¡¯ll never have to play a guessing game to find out what plug goes to where. |
