Decorating is one of the final touches and it really helps to make a game room feel like a fun place to be.  Getting some framed pictures for your wall is definitely the way to go and a lot different themes will work.  A few classic examples are sports pictures, painting of musicians, clich¨¦ pictures of dogs playing in a game room, beer signs, and pictures of cities at night.  A few choice trophies or other game related knick-knacks may also add to the vibe of your area.  

Last but not least, think about setting up some rules for your game room, another instance where home court advantage comes into play.  Every game in your room should have a set of game play rules and ¡®the house¡¯ rules.   You may also want to decide how you feel about smoking, alcohol, eating, gambling and whether or not you want young children in there unsupervised or otherwise.  It is smart to go ahead and get some rules in mind, do not worry, it is your room you can break your rules if you need to.  Nevertheless, they will help keep your prized game room operating smoothly.
