Choosing something fun and exciting for a day with the family gives you endless possibilities.  One of the most popular things with the kids is a water park.  Water parks generally offer so much for people of all ages to enjoy and are generally pretty affordable as well.  Caribbean Cove is one such indoor water park that is located in Indianapolis, Indiana.

This indoor water park is located within the Indianapolis Holiday Inn.  It is Indiana¡¯s only indoor water park and takes up 50,000 square feet.  Tickets to the water park are included with the price of a room at the hotel and covers up to 5 people per room.  This also helps to alleviate overcrowding since the general public is not admitted.  

One of the main attractions of Caribbean Cove is the children¡¯s section which is named Kastaway Kidz Island.  This area of the park includes a 700 gallon bucket which dumps water on guests every 6-8 minutes.  The area below the bucket is occupied with a shipwreck shaped play area that young children especially will enjoy.

For the adults, there is also so much to do.  The lazy river is among the favorite things for an adult to do.  Also among the adult favorites is spending time in one of the two onsite spas.  There are also several different types of waterslides.  One set of slides takes guests winding in and out of the building through tunnels before ejecting them into the plunge pool.  The other one spirals guests throughout the park.  All of them are about 40 feet tall and range from 267 feet to 388 feet in length.  There is also a pool area dedicated to sports fans.  This area allows guests to play ball featuring hoops to play basketball in the water.  

When guests are ready to dry off and relax, the Calypso Caf¨¦ provides such a location.  They also serve food and drinks to guests.  One of the restaurants located in this area is Pizza Express, a division of Pizza Hut.  Another option for dry fun is the arcade called Crazy CoCo¡¯s.  This area boasts more than 50 arcade style games for guests to play.

Caribbean Cove is open Sunday through Thursday from 9 am until 10 pm and Fridays and Saturdays from 9 am until 11 pm to allow for optimal fun time.  Guests are issued a color coded wrist band upon check in that will allow them access to the water park on that day only.  

For those people who wish to have a birthday party or other celebration at Caribbean Cove, reservations are available without a room stay on Sunday through Thursday only based on availability.  Parties can be any time between 4 and 10 pm on these days.  There are several different packages to choose from.  The Birthday Bonanza is for up to 10 guests and includes unlimited water park fun, hot dog supper, 10 game tokens per child and a plush CoCo monkey for the birthday child.  The Birthday Blowout costs a little more, but includes a pizza dinner rather than hot dogs.
