AQUARIUS THE WATER BEARER (January 21 to February 19): The Aquarian has an ability to blend logic with intuition, and rely on both in situations. His behavior may be erratic and eccentric. He is a free spirit. He will resent any restrictions you may put on him, and with a rebellious nature may go against them just to show you he doesn＊t care. He is a resourceful creature, and able to get around impediments. His sense of humor may be somewhat perverse, but deep down he＊s a humanitarian who cares about helping others.  

WATER BEARER/RATS: Born in 1912, 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996. The Water Bearer born in the year of the Rat is a very busy person. He takes on a number of commitments, both professional and personal, and always keeps moving. He＊s not very good with schedules, however, and is likely to show up late to just about all of his obligations每 but he will be there. Don＊t tell him he can＊t do something; he＊ll just scoff at you and go try to do it. He is friendly and has a lot of acquaintances, but he has a difficult time forging close, personal relationships, especially in romance. This is because he values his privacy and hates to compromise, even in the name of love.     

WATER BEARER/OX: Born in 1913, 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997. The Water Bearer/Ox is incredibly stubborn and hates to inconvenience himself for others. He may care for his family, but he doesn＊t want to live with them. He will be reluctant to marry, and if he does he will seek a room of his own. The basement, the garage每 somewhere每 that will be his and his alone. He needs a retreat, and pity the person who invades it. He needs a mate who will respect his privacy, and not get upset if he doesn＊t make it home in time for dinner. When he helps people out, he feels truly good about himself and will look to do more good.  

WATER BEARER/TIGER: Born in 1914, 1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998. The influence of the Tiger on the Water Bearer makes for an ambitious person who will act on his impulses, yet do so in a rational, cool, collected way. He loves to travel and taste adventure, but he is more likely to be found in art galleries, museums and historical landmarks than sampling night life, fancy restaurants or shops. In a relationship, he needs to have his ego stroked, so reassure him of his importance每 but don＊t try to smother him or chain him up. He will become vicious. He tends to annoy people who cannot appreciate his twisted sense of humor, but he doesn＊t care who he might offend.   

WATER BEARER/HARE: Born in 1915, 1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999. The Hare brings out the social butterfly inside the Water Bearer, and he is more likely to be a people person under the Hare＊s influence. He had good manners, treats people with respect, and seems cordial enough. However, when one tries to get closer to him, he can still seem somewhat distant and aloof. He does not easily give up what goes on inside of himself, and resents people asking too many questions. If you do probe, he will become uncomfortable and make his exit每 if he is going to tell anyone anything, it will have to be his choice and in his own time.   

WATER BEARER/DRAGON: Born in 1916, 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000. The Water Bearer partnered with the Dragon makes a person who is an excellent leader. He is able to detach himself from his emotions and look at a situation logically, but does not ignore his gut instincts. He cares about the people he leads or is in charge of, but he is able to keep enough emotional distance to not let personal relationships interfere. In the relationship and family structure, he definitely sees himself in the head role, and because of his natural leadership tendencies, he may begin to bark orders or become overbearing. He has to be reminded that his family and friends are not his troops. 

WATER BEARER/SNAKE: Born in 1917, 1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001. The Snake helps the Water Bearer become very detached so that he is almost two people每 there is his pubic persona and his private. In public, he is gracious, polite, charming, and well mannered. In private, he is cold, judgmental, and reclusive. It will be truly difficult for him to give himself to a life partner每 if he does, he will let that person know that he doesn＊t need to be there. He needs his space, both emotional and physical. Don＊t expect him to be sentimental or romantic每 the best you can hope for is that he will respect you and enjoy your company. 

WATER BEARER/HORSE: Born in 1918, 1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002. The free and adventurous spirit of the Horse when paired with the Water Bearer creates an individual who is virtually untamable. He likes to run. He is the kind of person that will join the peace corps, or travel the country to participate in sit-ins or protests. He wants to make the world a better place每 though, indeed, if he succeeded, he would probably not know what to do with himself for the rest of his life. He makes a good friend; he will be honest and forthright with you, and help you if he can. The only problem is you may not always be able to find him when you need him. 

WATER BEARER/SHEEP: Born in 1919, 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003. The unruly Sheep will cause the Water Bearer to be even more undisciplined. He will likely have an erratic schedule, sometimes sleeping days, sometimes sleeping nights. A set schedule only frustrates him and he finds it most difficult to go to school or a job that keeps regular hours. He will be miserable and may not last long at it. He doesn＊t like to talk about what is bothering him每 he would much prefer to hear what is on your mind or in your heart. If something is bothering him, he＊s just content that you are with him and doesn＊t really want to talk. If you want him to tell you his problems, you will have to pry it out of him with a crowbar. 

WATER BEARER/MONKEY: Born in 1920, 1932, 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004. The Water Bearer/Monkey approaches life with a sense of humor that mocks life＊s ironies. He has the potential to offend people who think more conventionally. They may think he is poking fun at serious or controversial issues, but if they get past the joke they will see his is usually making a very insightful social commentary. ※Better to laugh at things than cry over them,§ will be his motto. The Water Bearer influenced by the Monkey will have a tendency to begin things with enthusiasm and full of ambition, then lose interest and eventually drop it, unfinished. They tend to do the same in romance, so their partners better keep up the challenge or risk losing them.

WATER BEARER/ROOSTER: Born in 1921, 1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005. This eccentric character may frequently stump people with his outlandish behavior and lifestyle. The influence of the Rooster will cause the Water Bearer to care little about what anyone thinks and pursue that which is strange and unusual每 things of which many people will not understand the appeal. He will think that others see him as interesting and unique每 and they do, just not in the good way he believes. He will notice the eye rolls and the shaking heads, but ignore them, believing people to just be jealous or too uptight to be as daring as he is. He is different, and proud of it.   

WATER BEARER/DOG: Born in 1922, 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006. Born in the year of the Dog, the Water Bearer possesses a keen sense of observation and instinct. He learns to notice and read the little signs in people and in nature to predict what is coming. His uncanny ability to do this will seem to border on psychic abilities, but it is really just an excellent eye for details and superior reasoning. He is the strong, silent type and will attract people who like to do the talking for both of them. He doesn＊t try to take a position of leadership, though in groups or times of crisis he will find people looking up to him for answers. This is because he is a trustworthy and capable person.

WATER BEARER/BOAR: Born in 1923, 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007. The Water Bearer/Boar is the fixer每 when he is presented with a problem, ※okay, here is what you need to do,§ will be the first thing out of his mouth. He will get frustrated with you if you come back to him with the same problem over and over and didn＊t take his advice. He doesn＊t understand why you want to complain about it to him if you＊re not going to follow his advice, and cannot comprehend your need for him to just be there and listen. He is likely to forge his closest relationships with people he knew early in life and maintain those friendships throughout his life. This is a person more likely to marry his childhood sweetheart, or at least carry that person around in his heart forever.
