SAGITTARIUS THE CENTAUR (born November 23 to December 21): Strength, both physical and intellectual, is the Sagittarius＊ greatest gift. Challenges are his food and his oxygen每 he needs them like a fish needs water. He is an individual who must always be striving onward and upward towards something greater, lest he will despise his very existence. It may seem to others that he takes unnecessary risks, however he usually is better equipt to face them than people may realize. The danger of his nature is that he can be led down a path in which he uses his gifts for wrong-doing rather than good. If a strong sense of right and wrong is instilled in him from a young age, and he learns to channel his energies in a positive way, this is less likely to happen.   

CENTAUR/RATS: Born in 1912, 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996. The Centaur/Rat is a ball of energy. He sees life as a feast of challenges, and will want to tackle every one of them. He has a tendency to spread himself a bit thin, anxious to pursue many interests. If he makes too many commitments, he will grudgingly pull back, but see it as a defeat and mentally beat himself up because he can＊t do it all. His greatest commitment of all will be to his family, and he will take the role of being a spouse and a parent very seriously. His loved ones may have to force him to go and take time for himself, because he will become so involved in his family life he may forget to do so. 

CENTAUR/OX: Born in 1913, 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997. The Ox＊s influence drives the Centaur to channel much of his energy into his career. He will most likely be a workaholic, and have to be reminded by those who are close to him to relax and take it easy once in a while. It actually takes effort for him to stop and smell the roses, but it is necessary because he has a tendency to drive himself too hard. His life partner, friends and family will have to be understanding of his need to work, for if he finds a career he is passionate about it will be his first love and he will thrive on it. 

CENTAUR/TIGER: Born in 1914, 1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998. The Centaur born in the year of the Ox will be drawn to artistic endeavors above all. He is a very creative soul and sees beauty in all things. He wants to create, mold, and shape things around him and make them better. He has a hearty appetite for life and enjoys all of life＊s pleasures with great gusto. His temper will flare when anything tries to slow him down, but he will burst through all blocks like a tank through a brick wall, so it is wise to stay out of his way when he is motivated to accomplish something.  

CENTAUR/HARE: Born in 1915, 1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999. The Hare＊s influence pulls back the Centaur from being too gung-ho, reminding him to be patient and cautious. He is more playful; he works hard at having fun, and has fun working hard. He loves to be surrounded by people, particularly family and loved ones. He＊s a lover, not a fighter. While he feels the need to accomplish great things, he does not seek to take chances or put himself at risk. He values friendship and beauty and strives to surround himself with both.   

CENTAUR/DRAGON: Born in 1916, 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000. The Dragon brings out the beast in the Sagittarius, and he will be downright vicious when it comes to getting his way. He sees himself as invincible, which can be dangerous because he can push himself too hard to accomplish things. When this happens, he can be a threat to himself. In a mate, he needs a calm hand to sooth him and keep him from trying to take on the world all at once. You cannot tell him what to do每 he bows to no one and will only become more determined to prove you wrong if you tell him he cannot do something.  

CENTAUR/SNAKE: Born in 1917, 1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001. The Centaur/Snake loves to win. He enjoys careers and activities in which he can go head-to-head with other people and beat them at their own game. You never know what is going on in his head, but you can be sure that he is thinking, calculating, planning his every move. Even romance is a game to him. He likes to be the dominant partner in relationships and can take advantage of a mate who is naive or selfless. Rather than being hot-tempered, if you anger him you will find he can be as cold as ice. Still, you will know he cares for you when his jealous nature shows at the first sign of losing you to someone else.  

CENTAUR/HORSE: Born in 1918, 1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002. The Centaur born in the year of the Horse loves the outdoors. His favorite challenges take place in the natural world每 he wants to climb mountains, swim rivers and sleep under the stars. He possesses a great respect for nature and deep reverence for the Earth. The sun and wind in his face give him the sense of raw freedom that he enjoys. He most likely strives to stay away from crowds and crowded places. The Horse＊s influence can cause his temper to flair, but he is able to remain calm in a crisis and prevail against obstacles.

CENTAUR/ROOSTER: Born in 1921, 1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005. The Rooster causes the Centaur to be a perfectionist. He hates to make a mistake or feel inadequate. He may sometimes shy away from certain challenges just because he is afraid of failure. When he finds something he is good at, he will pursue it tirelessly and become quite the expert. He loves when others come to him for help with something at which he excels, partly because he loves showing off, and partly because he enjoys talking about things he is good at. He will not lose gracefully, but since he rarely loses, it usually doesn＊t present a problem.
