Forester On Wednesday I reviewed Vya Extra Dry Vermouth, and yesterday I gave you some aperitif cocktail recipes using Vya. Today I have some traditional cocktail recipes using Vya. V & V Martini 1/3 ounce (2 teaspoons) Vya Extra Dry 2 ounces vodka Shake well with ice and strain into a martini glass. Add an olive, twist of lemon, or pickled onion. More recipes after the jump. "Martini" or "Gibson" 1/3 ounce (2 teaspoons) Vya Extra Dry 2 ounces dry gin Shake well with ice and strain into a martini glass. Add an olive, twist of lemon, or pickled onion. Mike & Mike Martini 1/2 ounce Vya Extra Dry 1 dash Vya Sweet 2 ounces Bombay Sapphire Gin Shake well with ice and strain into a martini glass. Add an olive, twist of lemon, or pickled onion. Manhattan (Manhattan World Series Winner) 1/2 ounce Vya Sweet 2 ounces bourbon (Maker's Mark) or rye 1 dash Angostura bitters, optional Stir well with ice and strain into a martini glass. Add a cherry. Negroni 1/2 ounce Vya Sweet 1/2 ounce Vya Extra Dry 1/2 ounce Campari 1 ounce gin Pour over ice or shake well with ice and strain into a martini glass. Add a slice of orange. Metropolitan 1/2 ounce Vya Sweet 11/2 ounce vodka 1/2 ounce lime juice Shake well with ice and strain into a martini glass. Add a slice of lime. Four Star 1/2 ounce Vya Sweet 1/2 ounce Vya Extra Dry 1/2 ounce Grand Mariner 1/2 ounce vodka 1/2 ounce orange juice 2 dashes orange bitters Shake well with ice and strain into a martini glass. Vya Cooler 2 ounces Vya Extra Dry 1/2 ounce brandy 2 dashes orange bitters 1/2 ounce lemon juice 5 ounces club soda Pour over ice in tall glass. Add a peeled cucumber spear. |
