Pizza statisticsPosted Sep 26th 2005 8:05PM by Nick Vagnoni Pizzaware.com, a resource for pizza recipes and other pizza related info, hosts an extensive list of pizza statistics, such as: Americans eat approximately 100 acres of pizza each day, or about 350 slices per second. Also, we eat approximately 251,770,000 pounds of Pepperoni per year. Pizza restaurant growth continues to outpace overall restaurant growth; and pizzerias represent 17 percent of all restaurants. (I’m not clear if this is just for the U.S. or internationally as well.) |
