Mendis is selling a bottle of coconut brandy for $1 millionPosted Apr 14th 2007 5:35PM by Sarah J. Gim Not that I'm fond of brandy, or even coconut flavoring for that matter, but I am totally curious about Mendis' introduction of "the world's first ultra-premium coconut brandy." I didn't know there were other coconut brandies out there that weren't ultra-premium, but that's not the point. The point is that the very first bottle of this all-natural, clear brandy with nuances of coconut, vanilla, and chocolate is going to sell for $1 million dollars. Yes, you read that correctly - one million dollars for a bottle of coconut brandy, and that's not even some giant bottle crusted with diamonds. If you have the money, I suppose it would be "fun" to buy, but I could think of a lot more things to do with a million dollars than buy a single bottle of alcohol. I guess that means I should just enter their contest to try and win Mendis second bottle. [via: Luxist] |
