21. I also try to eat healthy and maintain a healthy lifestyle, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE junk food. All kinds, salty, sweet whatever! I agree that everything in moderation is fine, if you exercise, and eat well balanced meals most of the time, then you deserve a deep fried snickers if you want one... although that does sound gross to me and I LOVE SNICKERS! Posted at 8:58AM on Jan 18th 2006 by Jen 22. I have to say the fried candy bars sounds very gross and messy. any Posted at 8:58AM on Jan 18th 2006 by Ssummer 23. My cat LOVES Twinkies! They are actaully WONDERFUL deep-fried. Do I eat this often- no. BUT- if we are going to the rodeo, I treat myself to half of one (I share with my hubby). I'll have to also try the deep-fried Oreos (YUMMY- creamychocolatesugarbutter). I'm not so sure about the Snickers, though. Posted at 9:04AM on Jan 18th 2006 by Tera 24. You just need to know how to find the middle between 'junk food'and 'health food'... Posted at 9:25AM on Jan 18th 2006 by EkakiJin 27. I have found that by reducing my total carbs and sugars I have lost almost 20 pounds in a month. I constantly walk, and I drink water like it is going out of style. I also eat througout the day. I don't mean having a #1 meal from McDonalds, I'll have breakfast at around 5:00AM, then Ill have a hard boiled egg or 2 at around 7, then throughout the day, I munch on things like Lays BAKED chips, fruit, veggies, and when Im being really good, Ill have my Cafe Mocha in the morning on my way to work. I work out about 2 times a week, and at this point I am content with my weight loss and the fact that I have energy again. Lossing that 20 lbs paid off big time. Oh, and my feet don't hurt like the used to. It's amazing what lossing just a few pounds can do for your body. I also eat cheese!. I love cheese, and its great for your body, it gives you Calcium and is packed with protein. On average a brick of cheese has about 90 calories and about 10 -25 of those are from fat. I stay away from yougart because if you look at the lables its loaded with sugar and even the carb smart kinds are still high in sugars or sugar alcholos. The less BAD sugars you put into your body the better. Having that Resses once in awhile is still OK unless your a diabetic. So cut those sugars, and carbs. Walk, walk, walk, walk, and drink water all the time. Instead of having 5 Cokes try cutting down to 2 every day and drink water with those Cokes. Cokes dehydrate and when you dehydrate you put a ton of stress on your body. Drink Diet, CAFFEINE Free Sodas/Pops instead. And yes the Subway diet so work. I have a 6 in Cold Cut on WHEAT almost everday and Im doing fine. Good luck to all of you out there. The battle for the buldge can be WON! It starts with you! Deep fried Snickers??? mmmmmmmm I LOVE SNICKERS and YES I would try probably more than just one! What most people don't realise is that chocolate has lactose in it.HELLO! I have never gained weight from any junk food. America is overweight because of the portions they eat. Go to Europe and try to biggie size it, you won't see it there! Posted at 9:38AM on Jan 18th 2006 by Brodie 30. I grew up on deep fried foods. My family deepfried almost everything and I'm not fat. Practice self control and you can enjoy that deep fried snickers once in a while. Excercise regularly to be able to indulge when you want to and quit saying Americans are fat! Be thankful that you have choices and aren't starving like people of other countries. Posted at 9:45AM on Jan 18th 2006 by Rascal 31. I think that anything eaten in moderation would be ok. But when people go out and buy junk food along with the rest of their groceries and keep it in their house- what's to keep them from eating the whole bag when they sit down at the next football game? And fast food, why get it? epesially if you're still near your home. It'd be less expensive and more health to run home and grab a sandwich or left-overs. Posted at 9:48AM on Jan 18th 2006 by Katshep 32. deep fried snickers? sounds good to me! americans r fat coz we wanna be...if we didnt want to eat that crap we wouldnt. Posted at 9:48AM on Jan 18th 2006 by greeneyes 33. I have to disagree on the ramen noodles. I have had a "cup of noodles" 290 calories every morning for breakfast for the last 3 months and have lost 20lb. It fills me up, and as for the sodium, I drain out most of the liquid. Posted at 9:55AM on Jan 18th 2006 by Darlene 34. Its a simple formula. Posted at 10:05AM on Jan 18th 2006 by Kevin Shufran 35. Did you know that..... Posted at 10:10AM on Jan 18th 2006 by Angela 36. So... I'm deadly curious where you could buy a deep fried Snickers or Mars Bar. I've never had the opportunity to see one of these fat laden babies! Posted at 10:12AM on Jan 18th 2006 by Kris 37. Does eating all things in moderation refer to canabalism? Is it ok if I only eat small people? Posted at 10:12AM on Jan 18th 2006 by Beelzebob 38. umm..fried 3musketeers??? i'm not a snickers person.anyone ever read the back of a lunchable ??? that people feed their children!!! OUCH! Posted at 10:16AM on Jan 18th 2006 by carol 39. God did not create snickers bars or McDonalds fries. He did not create prossed foods at all. I'll take living healthy and dieing slowly over eating empty processed foods and dying of cancer any day. Please, if only for your children; learn all you can about what these processed foods do to the human body so you can make an informed decision about whether or not you want your family to consume them.
