Now you can fine dine in your minivanPosted Jan 23rd 2007 11:04AM by Sarah J. Gim Sure sure, if you're doing the In N Out drive-through, all you have to do is scream "Eat in the car!" into the speaker and when you drive up to the window, they will give you your burger and fries in a handy little box that will sit comofortably on the lap of whomever is about to enjoy the Double Double (but not you of course, since eating while driving could be dangerous). However, the 2008 Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivana will feature the new Swivel 'n Go seating system, which is capable of seating up to five people around a removable dining table inside the car. The two front seats can turn completely around to join the passengers in the back for some fine dining at a table (rather than laps). That's "fine dining," though, if you agree with one senior editor for Car Smarts magazine who said the minivan "definitely has good McDonald-ibility." [via: SeriousEats] |
