21. I will not watch eating contests ther'e absolutely gross, pigs are better at eating then human hogs and besides what a waste of food when so many in the world are starving. 22. I agree with Stacy. It's just for fun. Who's really getting hurt by this? Have you ever thought that maybe these people in the contest are starving people. What a good way to get a meal. If this were going on in Iraq to boost some spirits no one would have a problem with it. 23. When I read comments such as these, or hear about how a tradition, such as Christmas or Easter displays, has to be cancelled due to it offending someone else, it just makes me see RED! OK, these things may not be what you believe in or appreciate, but they DO have meaning for many other people. I believe that most of this comes down to how selfish people are becoming. "I don't like this so nobody else can enjoy it either". Hey people, grow up! Live and let live or whatever you understand. YOU are not the only one with likes or dislikes. If you do not like or enjoy these things, DO NOT watch them! There are some of us that DO like them. Please don't ruin it for us. 24. Robert I agree with what you said at the end of your sentence you said "but worse are the knuckleheads who go watch them" and I say to that and the one's who are defending them. 25. Cant anything just be done for sheer fun anymore? Why does everything in life have to have a purpopse or its wasteful. I remember watching old time movies where at the County fair the event of the day was a pie eating contest. Stop and think people, lets not all become Robots of society, lest have some ice eating fun. Hoorah for ice cream eating champ.. |
