The reality of that kid from Africa, for example, who could get enough food to last him and his family for a month for the same amount the other guy in New York or in Los Angeles has wasted on a sip. Some would tell us that sobriety is good in moderation. Well, others would claim that not the same can be said about common sense. 26. The champagne is probably quite fabulous, though not worth the price. None-the-less, as an enophile, I have stopped buying all French wines because of the anti-American and anti-Semitic stance the French have taken, retrospectively since the Viet-Nam War. I'll stick to the wonderful wines of the US, and for champagne, nothing really beats a nice Prosecco from Italy (try it!) 27. For our 30th Wedding Anniv. Our children bought us a bottle of Crystal Champagne at $149.00 for the bottle, and I didn't enjoy it one bit, I am not a Champagne Person. But if its a Bottle of Martini & Rossi Asti Supmante then I could drink a few glasses. If people want to spend the $1200 Dollars then by all means let them. 28. At 350.00 a bottle, Cristol sucks.......never again!! 29. To each his/her own. I'll just have an nice cold beer. 30. For me, I'll wait & see if it can sell at that price. The best pace to watch true market value is on Winecommune.com where the buyers set the actual value of the champagne or wine. They have wine and champagne auctions that starts at $1.00 and sell whatever price the auction ends at, like when when people stop bidding higher.... We will see what the real market value is for it. I'm kind of skeptical of their price. |
