Will it ever come back? Sure hope so. Posted at 11:23PM on May 17th 2007 by Ruth 23. I am 51 years old, that grew up in South Georgia smelling the peanut gins and the p'nut oil. I love peter pan and would never be afraid to eat it all over again. My son and I both got sick from it yet, we just survived it and ready for peter pan to get back on the grocery shelves where it belongs. If you need anyone to help sell Peter pan just call me! I'll be there! Posted at 12:40PM on May 21st 2007 by pamela 24. It's time to bring Peter Pan Peanut Butter back. It's the only peanut butter I like. We had jars with the serial # which we had been eating. Several as a matter of fact. We did not return them. No one got sick. Unfortunately, there are people that want to sue whether they are truly effected or not. This is a crime. I would definitely buy Peter Pan Peanut Butter again. I look for it everytime I go to the store, hoping for it to be available. When can I expect it? Posted at 8:32PM on Jun 4th 2007 by Theresa in KC 25. Peter Pan is the only peanut butter I will eat. I had three jars with the serial numbers. I just threw them away. I didn't try to get my money back. Too much of a hastle and I did't get sick. I hope it will come back soon!! They made profits this year, while not mailing refunds to the folks who sent in lids for a refund from their tainted peanut butter. Looks like they would have been happy to refund the money, since we did not eat it and die! We mailed 6 lids to them in Feb from our houses and work, since it was the only brand we ate. No refund to date. I have contacted them several times--same--no response. They are not on my list of an efficient company--they only care about money, so I am concerned how much they care about food safety, since they obviously do not care about their customers. It really helps me to survive giving up all my sweet favorites. I can cook with it or just eat it by the spoonful! Nothing else tastes as good! I don't understand why it is not back on the shelves yet. It is very disappointing. Please, Please put Peter Pan sugar free back in the stores! Posted at 11:00PM on Jun 10th 2007 by Lisa Seiler 29. Can you still buy Peter Pan peanut butter in any of the stores? I do not seem to be able to find any. Posted at 11:22AM on Jun 11th 2007 by Carmen 30. I "love" Peter Pan peanut butter and can't wait for it to be back on the store shelves. Since this recall I have tried Jif, Reeses and the store brands but do not like any of them. If Peter Pan does not come back, I will no longer eat peanut butter. Posted at 4:48PM on Jun 11th 2007 by Gail 31. We had the Peter Pan Honey peanut butter that was recalled. but I can't wait until it hits the shelves again, because my husband and I like this better than any we have had before or have tried since the recall. and yes, I will be waiting to buy it again. I myself think quality control will be even better, and that will make the product better. I will not be afraid to go right back to buying it. Posted at 9:00PM on Jun 11th 2007 by sherri 32.
