Online Kimchi

Do you want to start a relationship with kimchi, but feel like you need to get to know it a little better first? Of course you do.

Lucky for you, there’s OnlineKimchi.com. Their goal, plainly stated at the top of their homepage, is to “provide people, especially western people other than Korean, with valuable information of Kimchi. Eventually, we are pursuing the goal of making Kimchi one of popular and favorite foods to all kinds of people.”

That right there is quite a goal.

Aside from just selling a wide variety of spiced, fermented Korean-style vegetables, OnlineKimchi hosts a ton of information on the nutritional benefits of kimchi, as well as a timeline tracing kimchi’s origins back to around 700 A.D.

Personally, I love the stuff, but I know that my roommates are sometimes less than happy when they see a big jar of it show up in the fridge. I guess they’re the one’s OnlineKimchi is looking to convert.

For even more kimchi info, including a cute little anthropomorphized kimchi character, check here.
