GimFiled under: Restaurants, Business, Television/Film, Stores & Shopping, New Products, Fast FoodAs Joanne mentioned last week, several 7-11 stores across the country have been "transformed" into Kwik-E-Marts, a la The Simpsons in quite possibly the most ridiculous (genius?) marketing and PR effort ever for the movie release on July 27.Today, Kwik-E-Marts are giving away free Squishees (the Simpson-ized version of the Slurpee), as are most other regular 7-11 stores. If you happen to live in Los Angeles like me, there are two locations: Olive and Verdugo in Burbank and the northwest corner of Sepulveda Blvd and Venice Blvd in West LA (pictured above, which I took last week when it opened).
