Why should I care what a coffe chain that sold water to rescue workers after 9/11 does with any product that they make. I'll take a corner mom and pop coffe stand any day of the week. I BUY THE STARBUCKS ESPRESSO COFFEE AND BREW MY OWN LATTES AND CAPPUCCINOS AT HOME :) Posted at 10:36PM on Jan 10th 2007 by Seattle Latte 24. Alfredo why are people so envious of Starbucks success? Posted at 10:38PM on Jan 10th 2007 by Seattle Latte 25. i work at a starbucks and was really sad when i saw that we had switched over. i loved the chocolate chip cookies and now they taste salty... (at least to me) Posted at 10:50PM on Jan 10th 2007 by caitlin 26. I guess i will be sticking to the coffee drinks at Starbuck's as I HATE trans-fat free food. I do not like the idea that people and the government are trying to tell me what I can and can't eat. Trans-fat free pastries taste awful to me and will have to start making my own from now on. As a barista who takes pride in creating art, I must say Starbucks and all of their patrons are lacking the capacity to appreciate the beauty of coffee. Don't sacrafice quality for brand recognition and generic ambiance. Posted at 11:05PM on Jan 10th 2007 by Kitty 29. Ok... so everyone commenting about hating starbucks and not caring.. why even bother reading the article anyway? Do you really have THAT little of a life that you read about something you don't even enjoy.. and then take the time to comment about why you don't like it? Now if only the drinks were some what healthy... haha Posted at 11:46PM on Jan 10th 2007 by Jessie 31. right now starbuck's is the only coffee shop i can get to, being carless and working too much. so I like if I can get the "treats" that are better for me. Maybe I will get something like it every 3 or 4 months,as a treat! Works for me!! I like having my latte made for me since I'd probably screw it all up!! Posted at 11:51PM on Jan 10th 2007 by amy 32. STARBUCKS RULES! Posted at 11:58PM on Jan 10th 2007 by angie 33. I prefer Starbucks to any other coffee chain and I only know of 2 near me. One will make me a special chocolate covered strawberry coffee and it is great. Posted at 12:04AM on Jan 11th 2007 by Sally 34. I guess they finally watched supersize me. Posted at 12:07AM on Jan 11th 2007 by anonymous 35. "At least until your area is declared trans-fat free, too".?? will "areas" have road signs? "Notice-entering trans-fat-free-safe zone", "Warning-entering trans-fat-usage zone, eating here could be hazardous. Will there be an agency ? Homeland T-FatProtection? Squads of investigators/enforcers? T-F Insurgents? If found using it in an area declared"free" could you be prosecuted, fined, jailed?. i'm out of space, bye now Posted at 12:45AM on Jan 11th 2007 by benjamin moskey 36. Why is everyone so worried about this?? Frankly, I don't see why it is that people allow themselves to be told what to eat and what not to eat. Let each person decide for themselves what they will and will not consume. Let us have our choices as we should. Posted at 12:59AM on Jan 11th 2007 by Charity 37. STARBUCKS RULES!!!! Posted at 1:11AM on Jan 11th 2007 by Frank Felly 38. I do not care for Starbucks coffee at all. I tried it a couple times thinking it was just old coffee at the time that I got it and at different locations. Giving Starbuck's the benefit of doubt sorry, it did not change my mind. I think your coffee is very bitter and leaves like a burnt taste in your mouth after drinking it no matter even if it's just been made and no matter what you put in it. There's is no help. Good for you I guess about your trans-fat idea.Your doing something right. It would be nice to see you change the type of coffee beans that you buy.I hope you have changed also the fact that your decaf coffee is really decaf now!!
