Burger of the Day: Garlicky Pork Burgers

Nope, not all burgers have to be made of beef. In fact, burgers don't even have to be made of animals, but that's beside the point today. The burger of the day today, in the final days on National Burger Month, comes from the New York Times -- a Garlicky Pork Burger.There really isn't all that much to the burger, which is always my preference for burgers anyway. The burger is made with 1½ to 2 pounds fatty pork shoulder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, 1 teaspoon minced garlic, and 1 tablespoon fennel seeds. All of the ingredients are put into a food processor and chopped until burger consistency, formed into four patties, then grilled.The full recipe and instructions are at New York Times.
