Eyeglasses as chopsticksPosted Aug 30th 2006 6:04PM by Joe DiStefano Not quite sure how I missed this one, probably because I'm more than happy to eat sushi with my hands. Full disclosure: I also wear eyeglasses. Thankfully I have no need for the latest innovation in eyewear/utensils: shades with detachable arms that double as sushi chopsticks. German sunglass manufacturer ic!Berlin has filled this heretofore unexploited niche. Now if I encounter a Euro hipster who smells slightly off, I'll know why. At $330 a pair, these multitasking spectacles aren't cheap. At that rate I'd rather drop coin to enjoy an extravagant sushi dinner at Masa. Not to mention what would happen if one forgot to clean these chopstick/shades after eating toro. They'd slide right off your head. [via: Newsday] |
