Day of the Dead suppliesPosted Sep 17th 2005 4:00PM by Nick Vagnoni Last year, I took a Mexican friend of mine to several different Hispanic groceries in hopes of finding sugar skulls to celebrate the Day of the Dead. We had no luck. If only I’d known about GourmetSleuth. Aside from a wide variety of Mexican items such as dried avocado leaves and even loteria cards, they have a selection of skeleton-related sweets, including this Day of the Dead starter kit. Also featured are Indian spices, Asian cookware such as clay pots and spiders, and (sigh) cookbooks for your dog. The Day of the Dead is little more than a month away, so stock up. |
