MacDonalds in Arizona is fighting the Governor and the laws of the state claiming to enforce the immigration laws against them hiring illegals would " damage their businesses" and wreck the Arizona economy." They want to continue to hire illegal aliens at lower wages and are forcing the state to revoke the low already passed to continue to allow the state to keep illegals on the fast food payrolls selling us hamburgers at below market payroll rates.
Disgusting at MacDonalds, huh? Let that be your guide next time you want a hamburger break.

25. I HAVE HAD THE COFFEE AT STARBUCKS AND MC DONALDS AND I CAN NOT DRINK EITHER ONE BECAUSE OF THE BITTER TASTE THEIR COFFEE HAS. THEIR EXPRESSO IS PRETTY GOOD. I THINK THEY ARE TAKING THEIR EXPRESSO COFFEE AND TRYING TO MAKE REGULAR COFFEE OUT OF IT AND THATS WHY IT TASTE SO BITTER.ITS WAY TO EXPENSEIVE TO HAVE TO THROW IT AWAY. 26. I can only hope for the customers that the customer service is not as horrible as it is at the regular McDonald's locations! They have the worst customer service in the fast food industry. I always say you have to pass two tests to work there...a stupid test and a jerk test. If they get your order correct without you having to send it back a few times, or if they give you everything that goes with your order it's a miracle. Then if you politely ask for missing items most of them act like you are a big troublemaker and they practically throw them at you and give you dirty looks. Heaven FORBID you should ask for cream for your coffee! They act like you're insane. This is how the McDonald's in my city are anyways. I stopped going to them.

27. I would NEVER go to a McCafe. I never go to McDonald's because their food is so awful. Why would their coffee be any better? I alternate between Starbuck's and a privately owned coffee shop called Sips in my area. Love both. No need for something new. Stop the MCD maddness.

28. Quality issues between Sbux and Ronnie Mac's Rainbow room are like issues between Ford and Chevy. For better coffee, buy your beans from Elan Organics in San Diego. They can toll roast them for you or you can buy 'em green and do it yourself or have your roaster do it for you. They're a leader in fair trade, organic, shade grown, sustainable coffees and wrote the book on better beans.

30. I too thought McDonald's could not offer a good cup of coffee. How wrong I was. Their coffee is as good or better and much more reasonable. I don't eat alot of fast food, but I do go for their coffee.

31. #14 - Joe..No, no one wants you with their coffee. I can't imagine McD's even trying to compete with Starbucks. The difference is like cole slaw and caviar. No comparison! It's a once or twice a month treat, so I'd surely NEVER give up my Starbucks for a McWhatever it is! There's nothing like a good Mocha Cappachino Vente on a hot July day! Yummmm!!

32. McDonalds makes some of the Worst coffee I have ever had. The only reason their cappachinos are any good is that its the same premeasured premixed powder stuff you get in the gas stations! The only way I can stand to drink their reg coffee is to load it down with cream and sweetner.

34. I have nothing against Starbucks, and will go every now and then to "treat" myself to a latte. However, Starbucks lost me as a regular when I realized how much I was spending just for coffee. The tip jars added insult to injury. I'll be happy to tip when someone seats me at a table, takes my order and brings me my $4.00 latte. Not sure McDonald's needs a cafe. Maybe they should just extend their coffee choices in their burger restaurants.

35. McDonald's sucks. Their food is good but their employment practices stink as they fired me due to health. I know that when someone applies there is a statement on the application saying that one can be terminated for any reason but for health reasons is different. So they can go jump in the lake. Health is an extenuating circumstance.

37. It is SO obvious when Starbucks pays someone to put up faked "comments" trashing any competitor...

They use the same, OUTDATED lingo, like "Grody", and make the same spelling and grammatical mistakes, like spelling "coffe"

Do they seriously think we are all THAT stupid??

I don't care if McD put up a McCafe in my living room, I would not go there, but, neither would I go to a Starbucks in my own kitchen - ALL THESE CHAINS SUCK.

39. McDonald's coffee? It's usually strong enough to strip paint, but first thing in the morning-only time I drink it- it's just what I need. Maybe the coffee-shop angle is a good idea, and we need some good competitors for Starbucks-c'mon,$3.50 for 1 small cup? I refuse to pay that.

40. Starbucks WILL always be better..they put more time into making and preparing your coffee. mcdonald's is known for having stuff premade..and this will be the same way. I'll keep my starbucks every morning thanks.
