Your baby¡¯s crib - it¡¯s a safe haven for sweet dreams, but it can be a place for your baby to learn and explore as well.  Many babies will awaken from a nap or a good night¡¯s sleep and entertain themselves in their crib, provided there are some favorite crib toys within easy reach. And an occupied baby means a few more winks of sleep for you!

 Here¡¯s a rundown of some must-have fun crib toys for your baby:

-- Crib Mirrors. Babies love to gaze at their own reflection in the mirror, so a plush version for the crib is a great accessory to have.  Some good crib mirrors include 1st Mirror by Lamaze or Light Up Melody Mirror (Baby Einstein).

Finally, make sure that you only give your baby age appropriate toys-- avoid toys with small pieces and dolls or stuffed animals that have eyes that could come loose.  Also, be careful not to pile too many toys in your baby¡¯s crib at once. Instead, rotate the toys and your baby will always have something new to play with.
