If you enjoy hosting Christmas parties and working on craft projects, consider making the party favors for your next Christmas celebration. Homemade Christmas party favors are much nicer than typical store-bought party favors, and you can easily personalize them for your unique holiday gala. Kids as well as adults will enjoy making these simple but impressive Christmas party favors. 

The first project makes a perfect party favor centerpiece for the kid¡¯s table. This adorable craft foam Christmas tree is a great way to display and serve yummy holiday lollipops. To make this party favor, you will need a triangular-shaped sheet of green craft foam. The larger the triangle, the larger your tree will be. Cut the craft foam accordingly. You will also need scraps of craft foam in various colors, a ruler, a small star stencil, a small circular stencil, a fine-tip marker, a craft knife, craft scissors, thick craft glue, and a variety of lollipops. 

Begin by drawing a large triangle on a sheet of green craft foam using a fine-tip marker. Make the base of the triangle longer than the sides by approximately 2 inches. Cut out the triangle, and carefully poke evenly spaced holes through the foam. Next you will need to create a cone by joining the two sides of the triangle. Glue the edges using thick craft glue, and hold the cone together until the glue has sufficiently set. Allow the glue to dry completely before continuing. 

After the glue securing the cone has dried, you can begin decorating the tree. Make ornaments for the tree using a small circular stencil and scraps of colored craft foam. Draw the circles, and cut them out. Make a star for the top of the lollipop tree by tracing a star-shaped stencil on a small piece of colored craft foam. When you have drawn and cut out all the ornaments, begin gluing them on using thick craft glue. Space them evenly, and be careful not to cover the holes you made with the skewer. Personalize the party favor tree by writing the name of each guest on an ornament if you wish. Hold each ornament in place on the tree until the glue has sufficiently set. 

After the glue has dried, push lollipops through the holes. Set the lollipop tree party favor in the center of the kid¡¯s table. Make these fun party favors for the adult tables as well. Everyone loves delicious Christmas lollipops!

This next party favor is as yummy as it is cute. You can make an adorable reindeer for each guest using foil-wrapped peanut butter cups. To make one reindeer party favor you will need 2 foil-wrapped peanut butter cups, a 4 inch long piece of 1/8 wide satin ribbon in a color of your choice, a small metal jingle bell, a small red pompom, a sheet of brown craft foam, a fine-tip black marker, 2 plastic craft eyes, craft scissors, clear box tape, and thick craft glue. 

Begin by cutting off a 1 inch piece of clear box tape. Roll the tape so it¡¯s sticky on both sides. Lay one of the foil-wrapped peanut butter cups on your work surface. Place the rolled-up tape on the top of the peanut butter cup. Place the other peanut butter cup on it¡¯s side on top of the first peanut butter cup. Gently press it into place, and make sure it¡¯s secure. 

Next you will need to make antlers for the reindeer and a base for his nose.  Draw a set of appropriately sized antlers using a fine-tip black marker. Also draw a small circle to cover the front of the top peanut butter cup. Cut out the shapes using craft scissors. Glue the antlers to the back of the top peanut butter cup. Glue the circle to the front of the top peanut butter cup. Hold the craft foam pieces in place until the glue begins to set. Glue a small red pompom to the center of the brown circle. Glue the plastic eyes on the edge of the top peanut butter cup above the nose. Put the ribbon through the bell and make a bow. Glue the bow to the top edge of the bottom peanut butter cup. Hold it in place until the glue sets. 

Place a peanut butter cup party favor in front of each place setting. Guests may think these Christmas party favors are so cute, they won¡¯t want to eat them!
