Making the bracelet is easy and fun.  To begin measure around your wrist, using the elastic string, cut the string 1 ? inches longer than your measurement.  This will give you plenty of elastic to make and then tie off your finished piece.  For the next step, it is recommended that the beads be set up on a table in the same order you would like them to be on the bracelet.  This will help solve the potential problem of miss spelled words or pattern mistakes.  

Start the procedure by tying a bead onto one end of the elastic string; this is called the ¡°stopper¡± bead.    This bead will not be on the bracelet when it is finished, so any old bead will work.  Be sure to tie the bead on tightly or it may fall off while you are working.  As soon as the first bead is in place, begin stringing on the rest of your beads in the order they were placed earlier on the working table.

When all of the beads have been strung, it is time to finish off the bracelet.  Carefully pull the stopper bead far enough to allow ample space between the stopper bead and the first bead of the bracelet.  Now tie the end string to the space you have just made.  Be sure to make this knot very secure, or all your hard work will fall to the floor.  Cut the stopper bead off of the bracelet.
