Mr. Joe Potter, President
Potter's Milk, Inc.

Dear Mr. Potter;
Thank you for your interest in reviewing my enclosed resume. I enjoyed speaking with you at the National Milk Convention earlier this week and am looking forward to learning more about Potter's Milk.
From my preliminary research into your company, including your past earnings, I have projected that I can increase sales at Potter's Milk by as much as 12% in the coming year. I believe that you can have a niche in the overseas market because of the uniqueness of your flavored, sugar free milk product, which is just becoming popular in the United States.
After reviewing my resume, you will see that I have two decades of experience in Dairy sales and representation. Because of my meticulousness with learning the industry, I was able to increase sales at Milk Maid Products by $225 Million in just over 5 years - an exponential increase that had been unprecedented.
Additionally, I was able to expand the Milk Maid Products distribution to the Western-European countries - a market, which you know, has been reputably difficult for the American dairy industry.
I plan to increase sales at Potter's Milk with the same aggressiveness as I have done in my four previous positions. Additionally, I would like to lead Potter's Milk into the international marketplace, as I see a great deal of potential there for you.
Again, thank you for your consideration for the position of Assistant Sales Vice President. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 804.555.3586.
Yours truly,
Jacob Smith
