Finally, if you dare, you can visit eBay or another Internet auction site. On eBay, you'll find a mixture of new and used merchandise ¨C often for great bargains.

It's important, if you're shopping online, that you use the right search terms. This is particularly true of eBay. Search on the name of the product you're looking for, the type of product, or the brand¡­but be sure to vary your spelling. You may want to remove apostrophes or spaces, or even misspell the name in a few of your queries. The search engine merely browses through the text of the merchant, and if the merchant has misspelled the product name, the result may not come up properly if you search on the product name spelled correctly. It's best to run a few experimental searches with differing keywords to make sure you're seeing all of your options.
